A former client reached out to our office regarding her daughter’s involvement in a hit-and-run car accident. The impact of the airbag deployment had left her daughter’s face visibly bruised. Despite contacting their own auto insurance, they were informed that only property damage could be covered since another driver caused the accident. Our office took action by reaching out to the highway patrol office to conduct a thorough investigation into the hit-and-run driver. After obtaining a police report documenting their diligent efforts in finding the driver, which were unsuccessful, this allowed us to pursue compensation for the daughter’s personal injury damages from her own insurance. Initially denied, we successfully secured $100,000.00—the entirety of her available Uninsured Motorist (UM) insurance—as rightful compensation.
